Vickery Towers at the northwest corner of Greenville and Belmont Avenues has been demolished for a new town home and apartment development. But long before the towers were built in 1968, it was included in the vast land holdings of Walter Caruth. It served as Caruth’s grand house, a boys school, and was once home of the Hockaday School.
